Acrobat Reader

What was the last version of Acrobat Reader made that would run under 7.6.1? The latest I have around here is 2, and that's just because it came on the 7.6.1 installer CD. I would assume that there is a later one. I would like to view some PDFs from school on my 540c, but they won't open in such old versions. Any ideas?

3 is the latest that works on a 68k, and 5 on a PPC running Classic (though I'm not sure about the maximum version on a PPC running less than 9.1, as I enver use anything less than that on a PPC). Usually 3 gives errors when you open the document as it reports to it that it's designed for later versions, but it will usually display largely as normal, although I have tried this on my 520 and it is pretty slow, especially with more complex documents that contain diagrams, images etc.

Awesome! Any ideas where I could find a copy of 3?

ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobatreader/mac/3.x looks like them - not sure which out of all of those it will be but either of the top two look like the most likely to me. You can only access them this way - Mac OS 9.1 is the oldest supported by the download page for Adobe Reader.

Acrobat Reader 4.0 requires at least System 7.1.2, but also requires a PPC.
