I got it from eBay for 20$! Now I have to wait for shipping.
It is missing the CD ROM drive and HD. Does anyone have the bezel for the top bay? I do not have any clue how much ram or upgrades it has. I am exited. My first high end quadra! :beige:

Nice find at a good price! The Quadra 800s have very nice looking cases but apparantly are very difficult to take apart.

I've only heard they can be difficult but I've never tried myself so I'm not sure. There's meant to be some tricky little clips involved in the case somewhere. Perhaps someone else can enlighten us?

No, its not hard to take apart, just annoying having to take most of it apart just to install RAM and VRAM.
The cdrom bezels are hard to find because most break on shipping. Should be able to use one from the more common Powermac 8500's.

Well i just got it, the case was in poor shape, so i fixed it with tape 😛 .
It has 54mb of ram and a 1gb scsi HD! Came with no OS so I installed system 7.5. Having fun with it.
P.S
Can anyone send me a free CD ROM dive bezel?
