| Successful LC II Capacitor Replacement |
Posted by: Mike Richardson on 2007-08-03 14:43:19 I have successfully replaced every capacitor on my LC II motherboard.
The sound is fixed! Sweet, glorious, 8 bit, 22 KHz sound now emanates from my LC II without distortion.
Perhaps some other problems are fixed as well, ones which I did not notice, but primarily my concern was the sound.

I think I might have to do the same soon. I'm getting a squealing sound from the speaker. Is this what happened to you?

Posted by: JohnnyGrey on 2008-01-22 10:01:06 Just did the 3 10uf caps closest to the sound chip. I lost one of the traces on the 4th, however, my sound works properly now.
