| Bunch of Stuff... on my porch? |

So I came home one day and here was a stack of computers on my porch with a note "Thanks bud" on it... still no idea where they came from.
I got:
2 LCIIs, one without an HD, other working great
One Performa 467
One Performa 550 AIO
a Mac Plus -- WORKING! I just need to figure out how to connect the keyboard...
So its pretty cool for a day's work! 🙂

Not really. Surely on location you assumed that. Nice "finds" anyway (if you can call them "finds") 😉

Well, I suppose they did find their way *to* me, but I was the one who found them sitting on my porch! 🙂 😛
They sat there for a week while I was gone... the landlady was *not* too pleased to see these "junkers" on our porch for awhile... she was going to ditch them, but luckily i came home in time!
In a way, they've been saved from a double death -- random guy (probably from university) who was gonna toss them, then from landlady who was gonna toss them! 🙂

Wait a minute! Does it count as a "conquest" when someone surreptitiously drops a load of computers on your porch in the dead of night? I thought you at least had to put forth the effort to pick up to be a conquest. It's like have you really conquered another country when they immediately surrender as soon as they hear you are coming after them? Doesn't there have to be bloodshed for them to be conquered? 😛

Anywho status update: I've managed to find homes for most of them, so that's good, and they can at least be put to use, now!
