LC/Performa 580, 588

Quadra/Centris 610
Quadra/Centris 650
Quadra 800
Quadra 840AV
Power Mac x100
Power Mac/Performa 5xxx/6xxx (apart from 5400, 5500, 6360, 6400, 6500)
| Posted by: MacMan on 2007-07-28 11:13:01 There is only one SIMM slot in the 630 so try to get a 32MB or 64MB 72-pin SIMM. They are available cheaply these days and the easiest place to find them is eBay.
From the sounds of your other post there is already a 4MB SIMM in there so it'll need to be removed before you install anything bigger. There is also 4MB built into the motherboard.

| Posted by: macintoshman on 2007-07-29 08:08:56 Ok thanks!
| Posted by: trag on 2007-08-03 22:40:13 I don't know if the Q630 will go that high, but 128MB FPM 72 pin SIMMs are also available. IIRC, look for HP D4893A, or D4290A for 64 MB.
The D4893A works as 128 MB in my Q605.
