Wow, what a find! $10 too, bargain. Does it have the elusive Newton InterConnect dongle with it, so you can link it to a Mac?

Yes, it included the dongle in it's original plastic baggie. Here's pics-

Go to www.peej.co.nr and click "Newton MessagePad" in the top bar. Those are the pics. Or if that is being _slow_

Try 76.189.114.38:5555/MP That should be _less_ slow.

what a great deal. do u have any idea what these are going for on ebay?? you could make some cash

Posted by: Patrickool93 on 2007-07-26 08:16:27
Yeah, I know. I'm considering it because as cool as it is, I have no use for it. One without a box or to many manuals went for $155!! 8-o

A Thrift shop I just dropped off a machine at was selling Pentium II 233's for $65!!! i talked to the guy, and the guy will be dropping the price on them. however, even at that price, the guy said that they sell like hotcakes. Just imagine, I dropped off a 1.4Ghz Athlon w/ 256MB ram and told him to sell it for $65-$75. I wonder how that person is going to react when they power than thing up. I even put a sheet on the side of it with the specs.

The guy works with my mom at the thrift store, and I told him I will help him price adjust to make it better for the people buying them. I know some people are poor, but that's just a rip-off. Not worth $65 for a 233Mhz Machine. especially when it has windows 95 and runs with 32MB ram!!!

I paid $50 for my NMP 2000, with keyboard, soft case that even holds the keyboard, stylus, and 2 PC card blanks, and the elusive InterConnect Adapter. Still, I would have loved to have it in the box.
