Posted by: Unknown_K on 2007-07-21 16:26:52 Thats cool. Does the 1000 have a keyboard and any cool upgrades?
|
Posted by: funkytoad on 2007-07-21 19:07:27 Very nice.
I have always hoped that I would get one of these
|
Posted by: MacG4 on 2007-07-21 21:34:44 yes it does have a keyboard and mouse. no upgrades that i know of. it was supposed to be $20 but the guy just let me have it for free

Posted by: Unknown_K on 2007-07-21 21:37:12 The A1000 mouse has that angled connector making it useless on the other models. Still I like the smaller keyboard and how it tucks in underneath the CPU.

Posted by: MacNoob on 2007-07-23 06:48:30 You know there used to be a Mac emulator that would run on these things.... A-Max! that was it. And apparently Basilisk II has an Amiga version as well.
Once you inevitably get tired of trying to do anything useful with this stuff, you can send me the Amy monitor and I won't even charge you. Which model # did you get?

http://www.oldsoftware.com/softimg9/amimouse.jpg true , althought mine looks exactly like that except for the angled connector on the end |
Posted by: Unknown_K on 2007-07-24 20:58:30 That would be the normal 500/2000 mouse. I have a 1000 mouse here and it will work on any Amiga, but you would have to put something under the machine to install the mouse since it would hit the table.
I just keep it incase I get a 1000 someday (or trade it for something else).
Never throw out working equipment.
MacG4 are you going to take pics of the Amigas? Curious about how the 1000 looks.

Posted by: Bunsen on 2007-07-26 04:38:06 Those Commodore monitors make great TV monitors for watching DVDs etc, or for an AV Mac's video out
