I first saw this concept over at MacTalk Australia. Basically the most memorable moment from IRC that are worth preserving can get added here, for everyone to see. It may seem crazy at first, but it'll be well worth it in the long run. So here we go, the 68kMLA Quotes from IRC thread!
Code of Conduct
Some basic ground rules state that quotes must be family friendly and may not include foul language. Anyone involved in the quote must give permission to post it. Post as a normal post, but if you need to explain or add something, wrap the quote in Quote tags. Try and block the quote with line breaks. Finally, try and filter it down to the very best quotes. With that in mind, let us begin.

I like this one from a while back.
yay I fixed my laptops battery!it was so dead, nothing would charge it
so I gave it the electronic equivalent of a kick in the head, by shorting the +/- terminals for 5 minutes
don't they have stickers on them that say they could explode or catch fire by doing that?
yeah but it's ok, I took them off first. |
