Posted by: MacG4 on 2007-06-28 08:06:33 Just bought another gigabit g4 off ebay just for the hell of it. actually its going to replace my current backup machines( yikes g4). its a 500mhz dual/512mb ram/2x 36gb untra wide scsi drives/dvd-ram drive/ati rage agp card. I plan on putting 1.5 gb in it and a 120gb ide drive. not sure what im gonna do w/ the 2 scsi drives yet

Use the 120 GB as your backup drive or something in case one of the SCSIs crash. That would be a sweet setup. I have 2x80 GB RAID in my G5 and it helps a lot with hard drive throughput. For backup I've got a cheap 160 GB Firewire drive.
