Reading Newton Notes on 540c
Posted by: mvallance on 2007-06-05 07:02:12
I am trying to read my Newton Notes that have been synched to my PowerBook 540c.

I tried WriteNow, Word Perfect, and Apple Works..but each changes the file to long lines of incomprehensble text.

I am using Newton Connection Utilities.

My PowerBook is running OS 8.6

The default option when exporting is Claris Organiser 2.0 but I do not have that.

What alternative application do I need on my PowerBook 540c to read the Newton Notes?

OR ... where can I get Claris Organiser 2.0?

Thanks.

Michael

You see the software on Ebay quite a bit:

Is ClarisOrganiser 1.0 any good? (I have it on an old disc)

and it works

I can now view my Newton files on my PowerBook [🙂] ]'>
