| SE SuperDrive |
Posted by: 30pin on 2007-06-02 14:44:27 Pulled up to a yard sale this morning, and sitting right out front on the lawn, in the hot SUN was the Se SuperDrive. I paid out what the lady wanted, $3.00! Just the computer and matching keyboard. Last time it had been used was in 2001. I put it into the trunk out of the sunlight and smiled all the way home. Plugged it in and up came the happy Mac. Maxed out with 4mb of ram. Running O.S. 7.0.1 on it's 40mb hardrive. There is a little bit of yellowing, otherwise the case is very nice. The SE SuperDrive logo on the front is crisp and clean. I was very pleased to get this model as the other one I have is badly yellowed and the front is all scratched up.

Posted by: iamdigitalman on 2007-06-03 16:06:00 I love the atetics (sp?) of the SE series. those lines on the front just scream late 80's design. I have two of them, an FDHD, and a Superdrive (same model, diffrent name). I am trying to get rid of them in exchange for a working SE, regradless of the model.

Posted by: Quadraman on 2007-06-03 18:11:18 The SE is definitely underrated. Everyone loves the Plus and the SE/30 and the SE gets overlooked every time. The Classic isn't a bad machine either but by the time that came out, they really should have used a faster 68000 or an 020 in it because the old 8mhz CPU was obsolete.
