Some good titles there. I particularly like Sams 10 Minute Guide to the Mac and Macs for Dummies, as they are the books that got me interested in Macs in the first place.

I still think the Macintosh Bible and MacWorld Macintosh Secrets (David Pogue & Joseph Schorr) should be in every Mac user's personal library. You have no idea how many times I've referenced from those books when something goes wrong.

Nice find! For a vintage mac user they are great to have. Most are getting recycled, keep them safe!! 🙂

Another book that is pretty good is Sad Mac and Bombs. The Public library has a fairly new copy. Waiting for it to hit the book sale shelf. $1.00

I came across a neat book titled "Catalog Mac". I can't remember who the author was. It was published in 1992. Basically, it described how you can mod the innards of a Mac into a low-profile PC case with its included power supply. I recall seeing pictures of LC series logic boards fit into like PC pizza box-like cases. I thought it was neat at the time, but the thought of ripping apart a working Mac and frankensteining it in a PC case and power supply now sickens me.

You better make an e-book. for everybody who is not good enough to own the books.

The Dead Mac Scrolls is certainly a great book for vintage Mac repairs. I was astounded to find a copy in a box of books given to me that the guy was going to throw out if I didn't take them. I had bought an Apple IIe and a Mac 512Ke from him and he gave me the book box 🙂

Any book "for Dummies" is a good read. I have the Mac for Dummies that covers System 7.
