What's an MMD?
MDD not MMD.

Mirror Drive Door. One of the last G4 Towers.

also known as "wind tunnels" for how extraordinarily loud its fans were in the early versions.

That is not too much. You know you have too many computers when you have no space for anything else.

Nice haul BTW, especially the Cube! I've never seen one of those before but I quite fancy getting one.

The Cube, the G4 400, the G4 MDD 1000, the PowerBook Pismo and the Colour Classic are all excellent machines that we just all wish we could have. Nice haul! 😀

A satisfying haul on so many levels: vintage, fast, portable, artful, etc... and then there's the 7200 😛

well at least its not a 4400 or a 6300

the mdd is indeed loud like a industrial vacuum cleaner

but a great machine expandable to the max

my cube is unforunaly tarnished the previous owner cut a hole (!! )

in the back the accomodate a video card

the hole has been coverd up with a good looking piece of aluminium but it does burn me

how ever it only cost me 150 and it runs just fine

and the color classic well its the color classic isnt it ?

all the photo's and literal odes of joy bestowed on the machine i saw online left me rather cold and i fund it rather ugly

butnow that its here sitting next to my cube the machine is getting me under its spel

That's not a lot. There's people with 20, 30 or even 40 Macs. Some choose to collect all the Powermacs or all the powerbooks or all the compacts. It's easy to get a huge collection over the years if you want to.
