ok then we have this:

and this, which was my play as i was thinking that the 69kmla could be down too long and the RC could be missed because of it.

go on vote - lets get some movement here.
its a seven day poll - if the grey page wins, i am just going to go and do 'it', no questions or discussions, just action.
if the black page wins, we come back here to sort the final rules. if the mix wins - we quickly sort it out based on the grey page.

Although I'm a little biased, I prefer the general design of the black website. However, the wording and content could be improved upon! As a basis, your wording looks pretty good - though there are a few little things I would change.
After tomorrow, I should have plenty of time to work on some sort of CMS system for the site. I'll try and get something set up this weekend.
We'll need to get the prizes and judging sorted out pretty quickly. Before we can start accepting entries anyway. I guess we should just make an executive decision about this soon.

i think emails to joy of tech, mothership, retromaccast, vintage computer forums and so on would be a good thing. a big present would be super - (ebay vintage computer section?) but really free stuff from the bigger sites cafe press shops would also work.
