Rocket in an SE/30? Whaddaya mean there's no room?? I'll make room dammit!

Meanwhile, does anyone want to play with some SCSI flash drive possibilities? Seller has more, but has ridiculous costs to ship to Australia. I was thinking if someone here want to try a silent flash drive in a SCSI-only Mac, we could order two, ship to you and you could mail me one.

Seems like you can find some nice deals on Ebay AU. Nobody likes Macs over there?

Generally the older stuff isn't such a hot seller here, no, unless it's complete systems in collectors condition.

Was Apple big over there in the 90's? Seems like there is a decent amount of Amiga equipment there.

Oh yeah, Apple had big inroads in education going back to the Apple // series. There are two user's groups in my city, one for graphics pros and one more general. Macs seem to be pretty everywhere since the OS X explosion, but even back in the Bad Old Days of the mid 90s there was still a fair few diehards holding the flame.

You'll note though that a couple of those items I ordered from US sellers.

Big thanks to Gary_W for shipping help. I've ordered the SCSI PCMCIA drive and when it arrives down under I'll put it to the test as a flash boot drive.
