Today my uncle said that he was going to a flea market to buy a recorder player. I couldn't cone with him but he bought a Perforna 400 and a Performa 405 for $27. Can't wait to pick them up.

Nice score.  Hard to beat 2x 68040 machines for $27.

I have nonow picked up the Performa. Bit there is a problem with my Apple Multiple Sync 15'. Do anyone know what the problem is and how I can fix it?

Your video adapter is set wrong.

Make sure that the switches are set for 640 X 480, V-Sync and H-Sync on, and Composite (on green on some adapters) on too.

Since there is video, and its not rolling up and down, check the switch for H-Sync and make sure it is turned on.

I don't have a adapter. But if you mean in the computer, where should it be?

Recap recap recap the performa.

Known video issues with these and bad caps.

Recap is like the standard thing to do to these older Macs. 🙂 Especially the sensitive ones like 840AV etc. I've got my eyes open for a decent Quadra 605 on fleabay though.

@oP: P400 and P405 were LC IIs.  68030@16MHz

Still a sweet deal! Do other Macs work on that MultiSync?  When in doubt recap, but it could be a monitor issue too.
