| LC475 hard disk problem |
Posted by: toples50 on 2017-10-08 02:52:25 I've purchased recently a LC475 but I have problem with the hard disc.Doe not recognized any hard disk drive I've tried.I've used the HD SC setup v7.3.2 from 7.5 installation disks but without luck. With 3 different hard disk I've got the same message:Unable to locate a suitable drive connected to the scsi port

Second thing: Try Lido instead of HD SC Setup... If the hard drives don't have the Apple firmware (no Apple logo on the sticker), then HD SC setup won't be able to see them unless it's been patched. Since you're using the original Apple disks, I very much doubt it.

How can I make a bootable 7.5 disk so I can write to it the Lido app? you need an disk image (can be found online) and use Disk Copy to restore the floppy disk and boot it up
