Was thinking about socketing the proc in my /30 and discovered I didn't need to.

Found a set of four 68030 sockets for $14 on eBay,. The pinout/count's all wrong unless they're meant for an embedded version, but they look like they might work if I add three machine pin sockets on the inside corners.

Before I crack eleven hundred some pages of PDF, I thought I'd ask about a ludicrous WAG.

With the IIfx ROM SIMM on board, might the SE/30 be hoodwinked at the socket level into supporting all, most, one or another (additional) of the six possible NuBus Slot IDs its ROM/Architecture doesn't support as is? [}🙂] ]'>
