SE/30 Ram
Posted by: Ralphieboy on 2017-08-05 03:40:40
Hi.

I am currently using a very nice, recapped SE/30 with a 250 Mo HD, ethernet card and 32 Mo of Ram.

I usually triple the ram with Ram Doubler 2.

I am considering buying 16 Mo x4 of Ram.

I would like to know how Ram Doubler 2 works and can't decide if I should stick with 32 Mo of Ram or if I should go up to 128 Mo.

ram doubler uses hard disk space for memory, its slow but allows more programs that need more memory.  with 32 mb personally I would turn it off as 32 is a decent amount for most anything the se30 does.

Ok, thanx, I will disable Ram Doubler 2.

Anyhow I have just bought 4x16 Mo to upgrade my machine up to 80 Mo.
