I recently did a fresh install of Mac OS 7.6 on my PPC performa. I also upgraded to 7.6.1.
I am wondering how I get the control strip. It isn't there by default, I can't find it in the control panels and didn't see an option for it in the installation. I know I have had the control strip in System 7.6 and upward. How the heck to I get it on my mac?
Secondly, there is no option for "Sleep" in the special menu. I know I have had this option before. Is it machine-specific or do I need to check something during installation? I have a 6300CD; I should be getting a 6500 board for it in the mail the next couple of days.
