In November my Sony Trinitron died, and I can't use IIci and IIsi cause I don't have a good monitor that supports them, I can use Quadra 700 on an LCD with VGA adapter as well, but I can't use it with Macintosh II series.
So, can I solder a VGA port on it? Someone tried to hack this card? This solution may work with LCD and VGA adapter?
Thank you.

Your IIci and IIsi already do Portrait output from the onboard video's DA-19. If you can't get that to work with your VGA adapter and monitor, don't mess with that Portrait Card, it won't work either.
Does the Q700 output something at 60Hz?

I'm buying another Sony Trinitron for my Macintosh II, I'll not mess up with portrait card.
