| Very happy with my $10 thrift store find: AppleDesign Powered Speakers! |
Posted by: Huxley on 2017-04-02 10:52:35 Stopped into a local thrift shop yesterday and was just about to leave empty-handed when I spotted these wedged into a bookshelf: a pair of AppleDesign Powered Speakers! I searched all over the store any sadly was unable to find the matching AC adapter (anyone who has a spare or even the specific specs please ping me!), but just having the speakers is pretty cool.
Album here (I deleted the embedded pics because our forum software is terrible about incorrectly rotating pic uploads)

Posted by: techknight on 2017-04-15 05:04:15 The forum software reads the orientation tag of the photo itself when it is taken.Â
What a ton of people dont realize is when you hold a phone to take a picture, if you hold it at a slightly odd angle, the "controls" will actually rotate in coordination with the angle of the device. So to you, the picture appears right side up. But, the controls were rotated sideways, or wrong way around, so when you take the photo it notes that in the orientation tag.Â
There you go. I figured that one out when I noticed it myself.Â
