| How Do I Install The System 7.5.5 Update? |

I keep trying, and It keeps asking for "System 7.5.5 Update - Disk 1" no matter what I do.
I tried fooling the installer by using disk images, but it outsmarted me, and said that it was the "improper" copy.
This is the net installer, which should work.
Ideas?

When I unstuffed the 7.5.5 updater it created a bunch of folders that I assume are what the individual disks would have been named. Did yours just dump into one single folder?

I got it!
I ended up finding the official 7.5.5 disk images on Macintosh Garden, and they're installing as I write.

Glad you were able to get it resolved. The disk images are also a part of the legacy recovery CD for anyone interested.
