| Parts machine, maybe not |
Posted by: waynestewart on 2017-03-26 18:57:29 Picked up a 2009 2.66 quad core Mac Pro for parts for $50. No RAM, HD or video card. Installed those and it booted right up. Have to run it a bit to make sure it’s stable and maybe do a firmware update to 5,1

Posted by: waynestewart on 2017-03-27 12:05:06 About 6 weeks ago I picked up a batch 9 Mac Pros for $50 each from a company that mostly wanted them out of their store room. One was a 2010, 2 were 2008 and the rest were 2006. I kept the 2010 and put 2 on CL and have almost made my money back. I keep meaning to put some others on CL but keep forgetting or not feeling like taking pics. I prefer to have CL ads with pics of the same hardware I’m selling
