So I start up netscape 4.01, and yes, there is a WORKING network. I tried going on loband and info.cern.ch, and both hang at connecting then say something about how it's taking too long, network timed out or something like that, and then once it said it was denied access?!
So I quit Netscape, reopened. I had to do something quickly, and when I came back, after dark was on. When awoken, Netscape closes and the error below comes up. This happens constantly, and sometimes a frozen image of the screensaver is at the left of the screen and fails to start...
Then I got the last error... I think this was when I tried to start it.
I'm assuming I should just do a fresh install, HOWEVER I am just wanting to download stuff from Mac garden and such, would macweb 2.0 be better?
Oh, and there's 32mb of NEW ram that's clearly working well... Had even more errors before that.
Anyways, the errors... and the blank screen that hangs.

| Posted by: rsolberg on 2017-02-23 16:23:18 I would expect Netscape 3.x to behave better on that Mac. With any version, I'd recommend disabling JavaScript (and Java) in Preferences to improve usability and stability. If 3.x still won't deal with loband and Macintosh Garden gracefully with JavaScript disabled, I'd look for other causes.

I'll try it later on.
