IlikeTech's Stuff
Posted by: IlikeTech on 2017-02-20 03:56:31
Well, I'm getting into collecting, and I figured it was about time to make one of these threads. I'm going to try to refrain from collecting too much stuff, but the occasional thing will be posted.

My most recent item was a LocalTalk to Ethernet bridge. The EtherMac Printer Adapter by Farallon, before it became the iPrint.

I'll post some pictures later.

Cool.  What are your plans for that adapter?  Are you going to use it with MacIPgw?

I'm going to attempt to.  Right now it is unfortunately giving me problems.

Here are the photos of the bridge.  I payed around 15 dollars for this thing with shipping.
Any suggestions on how to set it up?

What are you trying to make it do, exactly? It's intended merely to bridge LocalTalk and EtherTalk for an AppleTalk printer.

I'm using it for MacIPGW, which took a bit of setting up, but I got it working now. I can surf the internet! Well, sorta 🙂

Wow, its been forever since I posted anything here!  I got a PowerMac G4 AGP 500 MHz today, as well as a TiBook 867.  That TiBook is beat to hell, and one of the hinges is nearly broken.  It works, but the screen has a couple lines.  The G4 had a dead PSU, but one ATX swap later, it's working great, just needs a RAM upgrade from its stock 256 MB.   Anyone got a TiBook screen and hinges for cheap?

I'll post some photos soonish
