| Mac IIci startup Sad Mac error code 0000000F, 00007FFF |
Posted by: TimHD on 2017-02-18 15:46:53 Per http://www.gla.ac.uk/~gwm1h/Error_Codes/Sad_Mac_Codes.htmlthis is a "$000F Reserved for Macintosh compatibility" issue.
Any ideas what could be causing this? Have a stock standard Mac IIci, 12mb with 80MB hdd and ext Cd 300e attachedand terminated properly.
Have noted the occasional lockup when transferring or mounting large (disk image) files.
Any ideas welcome.

Wild guess—I'd look to either the disc or the System file on the disc. 64 is, I believe, "couldn't read System file": at a wild guess that higher numbers are later in the boot sequence, it might be try worth seeing if your System has got garbled. |

thank you, @cheesestraws |
