| Posted by: IlikeTech on 2017-02-04 10:03:30 Way to go silverlining! The drive works again, at least mostly.
| Posted by: SlateBlue on 2017-02-04 11:22:50 Could you elaborate? First, what do you mean by "silverlining?" Second, how do you define "mostly works?"
| Posted by: IlikeTech on 2017-02-04 13:28:09 Silverlining is Drive software by lacie. Also, the drive died again. It would occasionally miss a seek.
| Posted by: mitchW on 2017-02-05 17:35:26 I have two Miniscribe SCSI drives sitting on a shelf for more than I can remember. One of them worked, but it sounded like it was about to die. The other one was more or less dead, and I also used Silverlining, but it didn't help.
Even when new, these drives were known for not being very reliable units.
