Removing the Performa 6360 HD?
Posted by: Johnnya101 on 2017-01-29 07:46:50
Ok, so I have managed to get the front cover off and the back one is off as well.

The hard drive was working yesterday but seemed to have died over night, so I need to replace it. How do I remove the hard drive? I've already broke some of the tab that lifts up to slidenout the hard drive. Or even how do I remove the top cover so I can push it out?

Oops, just realized this is in the wrong Performa section.

once the hard drive cove is unscrewed, lift tab and pull out on the bottom, if its stuck you must remove the back plastic surround, slide the sides and top off, unscrew the top and slide and remove, careful a ribbon cable with retainer is attached to it. then you should be able to reach inside and push from the back.
