Spinning Apple menu extension?
Posted by: olePigeon on 2014-09-03 16:22:11
Was looking at random Mac videos, and came across this guys' tour of a IIci:

How'd he get a spinning Apple menu?  I want that! 😀   10 minutes into the video.

Anyone know what its called?

I don't have an answer but he's got some cool stuff around that desk!  A Xerox 820-II, a TeleType and what looks like an Intertec Superbrain I think?  He's got good taste.

Have you considered leaving a comment/question?

That's Super Apple .

I have this on my "fatty" OS 7.1 zip disk. "fatty" because it's got way too much gizmos and doodads booting up with the system, for how much ram and the 68000... But I plan on using that on a classic or se/30 some day.

There's also Zipple: http://www.guillemot-kayaks.com/Zipple/ZippleManual.html  I used it on my Centris with animated colored icons.  I lost the bucky ball animation though when Zipple got corrupted after a bad edit and had to be replaced, I couldn't remember where I downloaded it originally.

Awesome, thanks!  I remember Super Apple, but I never knew about Zipple.
