I can confirm it works! Transfering files from modern to old looks like it can be done for just $10.

It didn't work on OS X 10.4 and G5.

Huh - I've been able to use a standard USB floppy with 1.4M disks in every version of OS X going back to 10.1 on a beige G3 with a USB card.

Right now, my USB floppy is connected to my 10.4 running G4 Cube.

I'll need to look at this again. If only for the Mavica. I have an LS-120 drive somewhere that, if it worked, would be great for use with the Mavica and moving quicktake pictures.

Will Sierra actually write to normal HFS on a floppy or are you using FAT/PC format?
