| RamDisk+ Crashing |
Posted by: IlikeTech on 2016-12-28 10:05:08 Hello, I am trying to load Mac OS 6 into ram using the RamDisk+, however it crashes with a coprocessor not installed error.
Why?
Thanks

Posted by: rsolberg on 2016-12-28 22:08:13 If the Mac in question has a 68000 or 68020, perhaps the message is referring to a lack of PMMU.

Posted by: IlikeTech on 2016-12-29 05:16:04 It was running on a Macintosh Plus. I'm not sure why, but it got partly through Loading files before crashing.

I have used this on countless Pluses and other non-coprocessor Macs with no problem.

Posted by: just.in.time on 2016-12-29 17:46:04 How much RAM do you have installed in the Plus? If it is the stock 1mb, you may be a bit cramped for that space sharing between RAM and disk.

Posted by: just.in.time on 2016-12-30 00:16:43 Oh good 🙂 you should have adequate space for both actual usage of the RAM as RAM, and some allocated as a disk.
