Posted by: Macdrone on 2016-11-30 21:33:28 looks like its all there, could pull the network card and ram and see if it turns on. Â it has ram onboard. if it still does not turn on the psu could be the issue. Â last but not least the capacitors may be in need of replacement.

Posted by: Floofies on 2016-12-01 07:56:09 Yep yep, give it a good wash and pull those components. If you still don't have any luck, I can walk you through testing the PSU. Also, give the PSU a good sniff, does it smell like anything?

Posted by: toples50 on 2016-12-01 10:26:13 No it does not smell.I washed the board but again nothing.I have power from PSU but no led no chime and no pic. After 1 minute machine shutdown by itself.

Posted by: Trash80toHP_Mini on 2016-12-01 16:13:13 There goes my suggestion (most probably) but give it a try anyway: re-seat the ribbon cable from that friggin' medusa mess to the video-out card and make sure the speaker wire's connector is actually in place. Unplugging and re-seating connections is a good thing while troubleshooting. Apparently they need exercise every few years and scraping off the barnacles by doing so doesn't hurt a bit!
