Cut & Paste between OSes?
Posted by: Elfen on 2014-11-03 15:53:25
Only in a very few instances while running OS9 under OSX can I cut/copy from OSX and paste it into OS9 and visa-versa.

Are there others ways can this be done between OSes like some kind of system extension or init? I'm really tired of saving parts of a file and then transferring it across the OS with file loading.

From my experience if its formatted as Mac OS Extended you should be able to copy/paste/drag/drop with no issues. The problems comes when you've formatted the OS 9 drive as Mac OS Standard and copying isn't feasible.

Its a single drive with both OS and it is Extended.

I think you're referring to the clipboard, no?

I've never done this, so I don't know if there are any fixes.

However, it seems odd that it wouldn't work; I would think "Classic" and "Classic Enabler" (or whatever those files in an OS 9.2.2 System Folder are) would take care of this?
