Most of you are probably familiar with the ADB-USB Wombat that I developed for adapting USB keyboards/mice to ADB Macs and ADB keyboards/mice to modern PCs. Lots of people have requested the addition of game controller support. I haven't done it, mainly because how to do it seems unclear, even understanding exactly how it would work from a user perspective seems unclear. But I've been musing about it again recently, and I'm asking for your help thinking through everything and maybe pointing out where I have blind spots or misunderstandings.
I've written a blog post covering what I see as the difficulties surrounding game controllers and open questions about desired adapter/emulation behavior.
