nvSeven - a System 7 note-taking app, based on notational velocity

Posted by: KnobsNSwitches on 2026-09-24 10:42:27 This is nvSeven, a note-taking app based on notational velocity / nvALT. This was developed with Claude code, using Retro68. in my software dev experience I have never written for vintage hardware before. If you're not familiar, the idea with notational velocity is it's a 1-window note taking app, with a search/create bar at the top, list of notes in the middle, and then the editing pane below. All notes are stored as text files in a folder. It's been tested so far on a Color Classic. A zip of a .dsk file is attached, I can't seem to be able to attach any other file format here directly. Once i've done more testing it will be available on github. Please let me know any feedback on the app!
