LISACom 1.7 — what's new since 1.1 :)

Posted by: bmwcyclist on 2026-09-13 06:16:28 LISACom 1.7 — what's new since 1.1 Working volume. XModem → Use Volume lists your mounted disks (boot, external ProFile, floppy) with free space; pick one and downloads, List, browse and Delete all use it. Starts as the disk LISACom runs from. Hang Up really hangs up. Proper +++ / ATH with guard times, so a WiFi modem drops the call; redialing a bookmark while connected hangs up first instead of typing ATDT into the board. Files land where you can find them. Received files go to the working volume and the pane says where; Save-as takes a bare name, a full -vol-name, or a path missing its leading hyphen. Send from anywhere. Browse any volume for a send; YMODEM sends carry the bare file name to the PC. Bookmarks travel with the tool. BBSLIST.TEXT lives beside LISACom; with no file, a built-in Apple Lisa BBS entry is offered. Starter list of eleven boards included. After a download the pane tells you how to get back to the session. Two floppy images: LISACom alone, or LISACom + LISA Slide Show 1.1 with nine starter slides. Sources: MAKE exec and changelog on GitHub. Everything verified on a Lisa 2/10 against The Apple Lisa BBS. Available on: LISAList2, GlobalTalk LISA gaming share, GitHub, 68kMLK, LISA BBBS
