This card contains a Matrox G400 card 'behind' a PCI-Bridge together with additional hardware and uses a 64bit PCI-slot. The ROM seems to be exceptionally small with 8k (found inside an ROM 1.2 updater) and does only support a fixed 640x480@67Hz without drivers. The driver package contains 2D and 3D support as well as extensions for video-editing (vdig and such).
The speed of the card is average in 2D and 3D, i would say. I have yet to test the card in a real benchmark-tool but in 3D it is less than half as fast than a Radeon 7000. Finding a Matrox G400 for the PCI-slot in the wild has not been successful while AGP cards are readily available. A G450 based card (Millennium G450) can be found for the PCI-slot but compatibility with the drivers seems questionable.
There seems to have been a G400 card for the Mac with AGP interface (Power Mac G4 and later) but a PCI-variant of the G400 seems to be only available through the RTMac card.
I will try to package the driver extension and post them online in the next days.
To date, i have found only Version 2.0 and 3.0.2 of the drivers for classic Mac OS.
