| which model airport extreme works in a G5 tower? |

I purchased an airport extreme card that fits in a G5 tower but the connector for the antenna does not seem to fit (plus there are 2 antennas and the card has one connector).

In my dual 2.0 there is a model a1026. I think one of the antenna cables are for bluetooth. Dont forget the little plastic "T" shaped antenna on the back of the case. Without it wifi will not work.

There should be two different versions, the one for all original models and one for the Dual Core/Quad model. The earlier ones should use the standard AEX card. The final revision uses a board like the Mac Pro does, IIRC.

Ok, the card I have fit in the G5 1.6 unit (now I need to find an antenna). Looking for one for the G5 DC 2.0 now (built in antenna I think).

Sucks. I need an Apple adapter board 630-7054 820-1830-A for the G5 DC models and those are unobtanium. The airport + Bluetooth cards that mount on that board are dirt cheap.
