| Posted by: Vacaneu on 2026-08-03 01:50:20 Picked up this beautiful ACD today for a good price. Needs some cosmetic restoration but appears to be in good condition. Has anyone modded these to run off a standard DC jack instead of needing to rely on the ADC cable? | |

I'm sure the 2026 version can be a bit more elegant maybe than chopping out slots maybe with a long DVI cable and jack. There also exists the Apple DVI to ADC adapter (model A1006) which does all this in a much more elegant way. Keep an eye out for them, the couple I came across recently were dirt cheap as nobody uses DVI nor these display anymore. | |

I'll look out for one of these, but if i don't find one, I'll probably try to create a replacement or something | |
