had to wonder if these indeed are as hotswap as any disk/syquest/zip/etc drives would be basically?
just thinking a bit here about using old camera via media card alone instead of bothering with trying to keep a serial port free for the normal sync cable usage otherwise |

Do you have a specific one in mind?
I went looking briefly and most of the direct CF/SCSI adapters I found (outside of known ones meant explicitly for mac HDD replacements) are meant to replace hard disks on other more industrially oriented SCSI platforms. |
