Big pile of 603e goodies

I jumped on a eBay listing about a month ago and it just arrived. I feel I really lucked out, there's all kinds of fun stuff in here! I'm planning to juice up my 6200s with some board swaps etc. but looks like I got 2 PCI PC cards, Y cables, a bunch of GIMO jank, way more COM lot modems than I could ever need, and some laptop parts I have no idea about - there's even a card with a full size DisplayPort connector! Plenty to dig into this summer 😄

sweet!! do keep in mind you might need to install a 3.3V regulator to use these 6360/6400/5400 boards in a stock 6200/5200.

"a card with a full size DisplayPort connector"
Do you by chance mean one of the powerbook video cards that has a port that looks similar to a display port?
Displayport most definitely did not exist on anything classic Mac...

Sorry yes that's what I meant 😅 There is of course no DisplayPort connectors in powerbook-era machines (that I know of, at least). Still no reliable 3.3v for PCI so haven't tested these PC compatibility cards yet!

What are the Y cables for? The PC Compatibility card?

Yesss pretty sure that's where those go, but I can't really confirm until I get something with 3.3v. I have a 6500 in a 6200 which gets juuust enough for testing eg an ATI Rage Pro for a bit but I feel I'm pushing my luck there already! So trying to figure out how to mod an ATX PSU but I'm not super good at it - I find the Power On stuff for the 630-series to be confusing 😩
