I’ve never heard of that! I’m gonna have to give it a look. That said, have you seen https://recon-68k.github.io/ which I suspect uses the same connectivity? |

Yes, I have. It’s not that useful - it claimed I had a failed ASC when I had a failed VIA. |

This software is AMAZING assuming your se/30 can get into debug mode. 2 cheap cables from Amazon and away you go! |

This looks super handy, I wish there was a version that would work with other macs. I've been trying to fix an LCIII using the debug console over serial but would love something with a GUI and all the addresses and commands pre-programmed. |

I know there is AppleCAT for various Mac models just not sure how well it works.

Is this a front end/GUI based on the diagnostics mode that was previously known about and more recently popularized by Adrian Black?
Cause that would be pretty cool if so.

it's basically a techstep on the cheap. the techstep uses the diag mode to work. |
