| 7600 weirdness | |
| Posted by: imactheknife on 2026-05-27 02:54:12 Have a Powermac 7600 that i restored. It randonly freezes and every time i restart it the raster comes up with mouse but mouse is frozen. Then it just stays like that. I have 188 megs of ram in it. Just wondering if ram would cause this kind of weirdness? Going to try going barebones tonight and see what it does. Also has a g3 upgrade card in it | |

Also has a g3 upgrade card in itGiven where it is failing, I'd check your drives. Is your SCSI bus correctly terminated? What happens if you unplug your hard disk and try booting from a CD? | |
