iMac G3 front panel won't snap into place after installing MacEffects bezel

Posted by: DontGetHit on 2026-05-09 22:24:25 I recently embarked on installing a MacEffects bezel and I am running into an issue that I can't seem to figure out. After installing the bezel I cant seem to get the front panel to snap into the rear housing. Almost like the bezel is too wide. I can snap it in on one side but then the other side will pop out. And that just keeps going back and forth. From what I can tell everything is lined up correctly. There is the little gap in the middle but from several videos I have seen that is normal. Did anyone else have this issue? Were you able to figure it out? Here are some pictures of the bezel installed.
