So, the MDD I picked up (2003 1.25ghz final model) has 4x 512MB sticks. The machine only sees 1 stick at a time. I've tried swapping sticks and slots, resetting cuda, nvram, pram (I think the battery is dead though, I MIGHT have another but not sure). The thing is, System Profiler shows a different slot as working every time I reboot, and it jumps around almost randomly.
I REALLY wanna use this as my main PPC machine. Any suggestions on what I can look into short of crying that I have a bad logic board?

| Posted by: senrew on 2016-10-24 21:08:31 I may have already tried that, but in my fever haze of digging through all of these other macs, I don't think I did that properly. Let me try.
| Posted by: senrew on 2016-10-24 21:45:08 Well...I feel stupid. While going through the "1 stick at a time through each slot" thing, I noticed that two of the sticks were of the wrong speed. Swapped those out with the correct PC2700 type and BAM. Working machine. I'm only at 1.75GB but that'll be more than enough.
