| Well, this is an odd one. |
Posted by: Floofies on 2016-10-21 15:08:43 I was in the middle of using Disk Copy 6.3.3 to image a floppy, inserted a double sided disk and... Well, it didn't like the disk and rejected it, even though it was double sided.
When I tried again, this happened:

The system froze at that point. Notice how it says to insert "Macintosh HD", that's the boot disk! Pretty weird. Is this a bug in that version of Disk Copy? I'm running Mac OS 7.6.1
I'm able to reproduce this easily, so I am thinking it is a bug.

Posted by: Floofies on 2016-10-21 16:50:27 A Quadra 630.
Looks like it was actually an 800k image, and I was using a 1.44MB disk; which is why my 1.44MB disk wasn't being accepted. I still can't explain what's going on here though.

Posted by: Macdrone on 2016-10-21 23:28:01 happens. Â Sometimes system 7.5.5 or newer and disk copy 6.3.3 do not like 800k images. Â I use 4.2 i think as it plays better with older images like the 800k for me.
I kniow none of this should matter but I have just had better luck that way.
