| AGP Graphics in a Quicksilver |
Posted by: beachycove on 2016-10-16 13:50:38 Is it possible to transplant the guts of an AGP Graphics G4 into a Quicksilver case? Anyone tried this? I have a working AGP Graphics in a distressed case, and a dead QS with a nice case. Am not sure what differences there are....

The power supplies are different and I'm not sure one will physically fit in the case of the other. You will likely fry the motherboard if you attempt to use the wrong PSU.
Also the connecter for the front panel buttons might be different.

However, the power button and speaker might pose an issue. Not that they wouldn't work, but that they'd probably look weird (the green/amber power button light might look strange being where a white button/light usually is).
