CHRP Enablers for PPC macs.

As for past couple of weeks we have seen people trying out CHRP enablers for Macintosh.

I have experienced with it with my PowerBook G3 Wallstreet running Sonnet G3 500mhz.

What I have found;
System 7.1 - crashes/unstable, could not show monitors etc
System 7.5.3 - unstable.
System 7.5.5 - I think I was too quick to experiment with.

I have found Mac OS 7.6.1 most stable and seems to work well. Injected MacOS 8.1 ethernet drivers, Open Transport 1.1.3 in and AppleShare from 9.2.2 in as well to enable networking. But I still cannot get Sound to work.

I would like to hear from others, what works & what doesn't work - specifically with Sound - also keen to hear from other PowerBook G3s, PowerBook G4, iBooks, Power Macintosh G3/G4s etc

Cheers
AP

Did you try to reset your PRAM ?
I've read a post on the garden about the sound came back maybe after that on a Mini G4.
