Posted by: BobDaAggie on 2025-11-02 11:00:49Hello everyone. I purchased a Mac Plus Rominator. I have soldered the parts together but when I install it I get a checkerboard screen. I think that I might have screwed up the ROM chips. What ROM programmer should I purchase to reflash the ROM chips? Here are some pictures of my work. Let me know if you see an issue.

I use the Relatively Universal ROM Programmer. It is Relatively Cheap. Although I don't know if bad ROMs are your problem here
Posted by: BobDaAggie on 2025-11-02 14:32:52I did try toning out the pins and lines. I do not have a diagram to verify the proper signals but for the most part the tones line up with what I think is correct.
What do you think could be the problem?

Gerber files for the Rominator are available, but not the schematics. I would ask the vendor for them.
If they can't provide you with schematics, I would be happy to draw them for you from the Gerber files.
